1 cup softened butter
1 and 1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
2 cups unbleached white flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
12 ounces peanut butter chips
Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla. Mix in egg. Blend in flour, cocoa, baking soda
and salt. Combine thoroughly. Fold in the chips. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto baking sheets.
Bake at 375º F for 9 to 11 minutes.
