1 cup softened butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
2 and 1/4 cups unbleached white flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
12 ounces chocolate chips
Cream together butter, sugars and vanilla. Mix in egg. Blend in flour, baking soda, and
salt. Combine thoroughly. Fold in the chips. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto baking sheets.
Bake at 375º F for 9 to 11 minutes.
